Here is how to view the contents of your drive:

  • Click in the search bar on the bottom left of your screen.  If you don't see it, click the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen.  If should open a search bar with a paper/pencil icon in it and it says "Type here to Search".
  • Type in File Explorer.  It should automatically start loading a list of programs. Double click to open the File Explorer app.
  • Scroll down on the left hand side of the screen and click on This PC.  If your flash drive is plugged in you should see an icon for it among the available drives. It will be labeled as a Removable Drive. Click on it to open it and view its contents.

  2. The answer was written for an older version of Windows, so the instructions you refer to had to be updated, which is now done. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
