For an example and instructions on how to cite an online newspaper article, go to our Cite MLA Style LibGuide (linked below), and select the Cite Web tab. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and you'll see an example from CNN.

There are citation generators available. You essentially select the type of source, enter the requested information, and a citation is generated. In our Cite MLA Style LibGuide, select the Cite the Easy Way tab, and look for the Citation Generators box on the left.
