Go to the Databases LibGuide below and select the Hot Topics tab. The databases there will all be good.

In Gale: Opposing Viewpoints and Facts on File, you can just search child abuse. In Gale, you will get a mix of Viewpoints (persuasive essays), academic articles, etc. You can click on the title link to get to the full article. In Facts on File, you will find a list of articles, sidebars, etc. 

In EBSCO: Academic Search Complete you will get many results. Once you do your search, use your limiters on the left for full text, publication date, and Subject Thesaurus terms to refine the list.
