For books, follow the link below to our library catalog OneSearch and search for Cosmetics History.  There is one book in particular, Beauty & Cosmetics 1550-1950, that is a good bet to have information on this topic.

For academic articles, you can try our history databases.  Follow the link below to our history databases guide. You can search any of these databases for cosmetics history.
