Citations copied from EBSCO and pasted into a word document will not have hanging indents.  You will have to create the hanging indent in Word after pasting the citation.  Highlight the text, right-click, and select paragraph.  In the special box under the indentation section, select hanging and then click OK.

MLA documents should be double-spaced, so be sure to adjust your citation page to double-space either before or after pasting in your EBSCO citations.  You can adjust this through the paragraph option as well.
