Q. How do I access an eBook I find in One Search? How do I find it again when I get home, and get an MLA citation?

To access the eBook in OneSearch, click on the title of the eBook from your results list to open the record.  Then under Full Text Availability, click on the database link that holds the eBook. In the database, find the link/button in the database to open and/or download the book to read.

To be able to retrieve it later from home, while you are in OneSearch with the OneSearch catalog record open, click on Permalink.  Copy and email the permalink to yourself.  By clicking on that permalink, you will be able to get back to the OneSearch catalog record, get the eBook and any citation information you need.  To copy citation information, while in the OneSearch record, under Send To, click on Citation (").  Select MLA from the list on the left and click Copy Citation to Clipboard.  You can then paste it into your works cited page.  Be sure to correct for formatting (Times New Roman, double space with hanging indent).
