Your best bet is EBSCO:

  1. Go to the Databases LibGuide (link below).
  2. Use the default choice on the pull down menu in the top middle box, All EBSCO and hit GO.
  3. Search on "child abuse" AND prevention. There will be hundreds of thousands of articles.
  4. To narrow down, use the Refine your results options Full Text and limit dates to 2005-2011. Hit Update. You will still have thousands of articles.
  5. to get the best articles, now find the Subject: Thesaurus Term menu and click on it. When it expands, select CHILD abuse -- Prevention and update. 
  6. Now you will have under 150 articles, you will just need to review to find the articles that you like best.
