The best database for peer reviewed articles is EBSCO Academic Search Complete. You can access it from the EBSCO Academic Search Complete tab in the How to Use EBSCO LibGuide (see link below).

Here is how to get started:

  1. After getting to the database, enter "rhetorical thinking" in the search box.
  2. From the result list, go to Refine Your Results on the left, select peer reviewed journals and Full text and hit update.
  3. You should have several around 20 articles. To get more, you may think of other terms, like rhetorical analysis or rhetorical and cognitive.
