Go to the databases by A to Z linked below.  Click on the arrow next to Database Subjects, click on literature to find the best bets.

To search for criticism articles, go to the Literature page under the databases guide here. The databases listed are all good resources.

To search, enter the author's name and the title of the piece. The author is a subject search, if you have choices for the fields.

We have several resources for citation and references. Our Cite MLA Style guide here gives instructions and examples. EBSCO allows you to generate citations that you can copy and paste. Simply select the article title and choose "cite" on the right hand side. In Gale, simply scroll to the bottom of the page once an article is selected to see an MLA citation.
