EBSCO has great articles, but it is not the best databases for pro and cons. Our How to Use Hot Topics Databases LibGuide has a chart that shows which databases are best to use for pro and con. You'll see that CQ Researcher, Issues & Controversies and Gale Opposing Viewpoints are the best databases for that.

For your topic, Gale Opposing Viewpoints is your best bet. Try just typing in the keywords: gay lesbian adoption. You'll get viewpoints, reference, news, magazines and academic journal results. Viewpoints are where you will find the pro and cons, you'll just need to determine which ones are pro and will support your argument.
