Have you tried EBSCO? EBSCO has articles on Robert E. Lee.

  1. To get to EBSCO, go to the databases guide (see link below)
  2. Select EBSCO Powersearch.  This will search all EBSCO databases simultaneously.
  3. Type in Robert E Lee
  4. In the blue left column of result page find Subject and click on it
  5. Select LEE, Robert E. (Robert Edward), 1807-1870 and hit Update.
  6. In the blue left column of result page find Refine your results and select Full Text and hit Update.

You should now have over 300 full text articles on Robert E. Lee.
