COM Library only places holds for lost, damagaed or overdue items. To find out what items are lost, damaged or overdue you can either access My Account in COMCat or Circulation staff can look up your record for you.

  • My Account
In COMCat at the top and bottom of each page in the catalog, there are links to log into your account. Use your COM ID and last name to log in. Your record should show any lost, damaged or overdue items.
  • Circulation Look Up
Alternatively, library staff can look up your account at the Circulation Desk, or over the phone. Call 933-8448.
  • Clear the Hold
To actually clear the hold, you will either need to return items that are overdue or pay for lost or damaged items. These items may be paid for at the cashiers in the Student Center. The Cashiers will inform library staff that the item has been paid and library staff will clear the hold.
