I am a student at another college. I am here in COM Library and I want to download an EBSCO eBook that COM Library has but mine does not.

I tried signing in with my user name for EBSCO but it says my account is not associated with College of the Mainland. What can I do?

Answer

The good news is that you are here and you can read it as long as you are in our library. The bad news (for downloading) is that EBSCO has all kinds of safeguards in place to make sure only authorized users can download their eBooks. As you noticed, different colleges have made different purchases of EBSCO eBooks. Your account is associated with your other college so EBSCO knows you are not an authorized user of that particular title.
