How do I use the library databases when I'm not on campus? Do I have to log in?
Yes, when you are off-campus, you will be required to log into library databases with your last name and 7-digit COM ID (found on your ID card). If your ID number has fewer than 7 digits, add a 0 at the beginning.
Keep in mind that some last names, such as hyphenated last names, names that begin with a Mc or Mac, Jr.'s, etc., have to follow a pattern. Access the COM Library Login test page to see how to handle those types of names.
