Q

I am trying to copy and paste a worksheet from Excel to a Word document,

but it is not copying the picture. The chart needs to be copied into the Word document as an Excel Worksheet Object so that I can update any information. Can you help me with this?

Answer

Yes, first you have to copy the Excel chart only. When you paste the chart into a Word document use the down arrow next to the Paste option and select Paste Special option, then select Paste link option button, As: Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object. Once you have done this, copy the picture that you want in the Word document and paste it into the Word document, without the previously copied chart selected. Select the picture that you just pasted into the document. Once the picture is selected a Format tab will appear the ribbon. Select Format and change the Text Wrapping of the picture to In Front of Text then you can drag and place the picture onto the worksheet where you would like it to be positioned.
