Where can I find books about the importance of increased water consumption during the Summer months?
Your first step to finding books should be to go to WorldCat and search on your topic. If you have trouble at that point we are always here to help. Meanwhile, I did a quick search on water consumption and we have several titles.
You can use this link to see a list of books and eBooks that cover water consumption. You can click on eBooks and search within the book to see if they mention summer consumption; print books you will have to review in person.
If you have to use a book and don't see one that will work for your research, we can Interlibrary Loan books from other libraries for COM students, faculty and staff. We just need publication information like author, title, date published. You can find out more about getting books from other libraries.
If you can also use articles, try using our EBSCO databases in our Database by Subject LibGuide. Here is a quick search. If you use EBSCO, here are some things to keep in mind:
- You can limit to full text under the Limit Your Results box.
- You can also narrow down by date.
- You can also use Subject: Major Heading under the Narrow Results by box. Look for the closest fit to your topic and you'll have fewer articles to look through, and they will all be closer to what you want.
- You can narrow down even more by selecting a specific age group or gender under the Narrow Results by box, if it is relevant to your research.
