Answer

Hi

There is quite a bit of information on this.

I ran a couple of searches in our book catalog, linked below. Be sure to look at the search terms. I first just searched for John Locke, then when I found a book that sounded relevant, I reran the search by clicking on the hyperlinked subject in the record. Click on the title links to access the detailed record. From there you will see the actual link to access the eBooks. You will be required to sign in with your COM ID and last name if you are off campus, just like if you were viewing articles.

The 2nd link is to a companion to his Treatise on Government, so I think  you will find it useful. It's also an eBook. The third link is also potentially relevant.

WI also ran an article search. Go to our Databases by Subject guide, linked below. Select the History tab. I searched Academic Source Complete. You can copy and paste this search phrase: (locke AND influence) AND united states.

The AND in all caps is called a Boolean search. It tells the database to return articles with all three of those terms.
