Can I get help looking for an article about the economic status of families influencing academic success?

Answer

1. Go to the COM main Libguide

2. Click on the EBSCO articles link to the left

3. Select advanced search from below the search box

4. Type in "acadmic success" for the first blank, "economic" for the second, and "families" for the third

5. Set limiters on the left to "full text," "reference only," and "peer reviewed"

6. Scroll down and look to see if you need to change any others such Goegraphy (to US) or the date published

This should give you a few options for articles that you need. If not, check the "Subject" limiter for more options in narrowing down your search or try new search terms such as "academic" or "geography location" or any others you can think of. Make sure you save the articles you find interesting in your folder on EBSCO. You can set up a free account if you do not already have one.
