Answer

This is a very broad topic, so you will need to narrow it down at some point to a specific aspect of OCD.

However, just to get you started go to our Databases by Subject LibGuide, linked below, and select the Speech tab. For academic articles, select the first link to Academic Search Complete.

You can run your search on obsessive compulsive disorder. You will get many thousands of results. To narrow it down a bit, be sure to select the box next to Full Text. Also, limit the publication date to within the past five years.

Once you have done that, put a check next to the References Available option. This means the articles will have their own Reference page, which is a necessary component of academic publishing.

You can also limit the type of publication to Academic Journals. Once you have done that, select the Subject Thesaurus Term limiter, and the show more option. This will display all the EBSCO subject terms included in the result list. Put a check in the box to those that are relevant to your research (definitley check obsessive compulsive disorder)!

For good internet sites, you can Google obsessive compulsive disorder. Be sure to stick to .gov, .edu, and .org sites (be careful with .org because it does not guarantee a non-profit). For .org sites, look to make sure they are reputable research organizations. Avoid Wikipedia.org.
