Answer

Yes!  You can come to the Circulation Desk in the Library and we can check your account for you.  You can also either call the circulation desk at 409-933-8448 or you can check your account online and renew your books once there if they are not overdue yet.

To check your account online or to renew your books go to http://comcat.com.edu/, selecting 'View my library record', logging in with your COM ID and last name, then going to 'My Account' and selecting individual books to renew.  You cannot renew a book online if it is overdue or another person has placed a hold on it.

*COM Library does not charge fines for overdue books, with the exception of books on reserve.  The fine for overdue reserve books is $1.00 a day, with a maximum fine of $10.00.While COM Library does not charge fines for non-reserve books, we do have charges to cover the cost for lost or damaged items, so all items must be returned at the time the charge is cleared.
