How do I find a specific article for my English class in Academic Search Complete if I have the title? I can't find the database.
To get to Academic Search Complete, go to the library home page, linked below. From there, look for the box on the left called "Guides". It's the 2nd box from the top.
In that box, you will see a link called Databases by Subject (the 2nd link). Click on that and then select the Literature tab. Academic Search Complete is the 1st link.
Once you are in the database, search for your title and author like this: "title of article" AND last name. You can probably just use the first few words in the title.
Putting a phrase in quotes forces the database to search for that exact phrase. Using AND creates a boolean search, meaning your result list will include the exact phrase you typed in and the author last name. This should take you straight to it!
