Answer

Yes. Most EBSCO eBooks are in PDF format, but a growing number of eBooks on EBSCOhost titles are available in EPUB format. Customers who use Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome will be able view these eBooks online via our EPUB Viewer.

When searching for EBSCO eBooks, you can limit your searches to a specific format by including one of the following in the Find field.

  • eBooks in ePUB format use: FM EK
  • eBooks in PDF format use: FM EB

For example, if you would like to search for eBooks about global warming in EPUB format, enter the following in the Find field:

  • global warming AND FM EK

Or, if you would like to simply browse a result list of all eBooks in PDF format, enter the following in the Find field:

  • FM EB
