How do I get a citation from the catalog?
Answer
To get a citation from WorldCat, click on the Cite/Export link at the top of the page. It's the first in a row of tools including Print, E-mail, etc.
Click on the link and you will get a drop down menu of different styles, such as APA and MLA. They are in alphabetical order. Select your style by clicking the + button. Copy and paste the citation into your Word document.
Be sure to correct for double-spacing, hanging indent, and font. Remember you are still responsible for its accuracy.
For more detailed instructions, see the Cite from WorldCat tab in our How to Use WorldCat LibGuide.
