To create a running header in APA format, consult the Purdue Owl APA Style Guide. You can get the link below, for from our Cite APA Style LibGuide.

Essentially, you will create a header with two elements, your abbreviated title and page number. The page number should be right justified, and the title left justified. The title should be abbreviated to 50 words or less and also in all caps.
