For books, go to the WorldCat link below and search su:Music therapy (Copy and paste the phrase. It's a subject search).
If you see a title you are interested in, click on the title link. For print books, scroll down to get the call number and availablity. For eBooks, click the "eBooks click here to access" link. You'll need to enter your 7 digit COM ID and last name.
Also, I included the link to the American Music Therapy Association, which might be helpful. Click on the Education & Careers tab at the top for an overview of the degrees offered, schools offering degrees, etc.
If you need academic articles on music therapy, go to the Library homepage link below and select the EBSCO articles option. Search "music therapy" (use the quotes) and then use the limiters on the left for full text, publication date, subject, etc, on the left to refine your results.
You will find a link to the Music Therapy Center of Houston. I am not familiar with them, so can't personally recommend them. However, they do offer volunteer opportunities, which you might find worthwhile.
