Two good places to look are Facts on Files: Issues & Controversies and Gale: Opposing Viewpoints. You can find them through the link to the COM Library hot topics databases below. These two databases are exclusively focused on current events and controversial issues. Once you have identified a topic you can use these and the other databases in the list to perform research.
