How do I make MLA citations for books?
Answer
The rules for MLA book citations are in the Cite MLA Style Libguide, linked below, under the Cite Print tab.
An easy way to create MLA book citations is to find the books in the library's catalog, WorldCat, also linked below. Once you find the book in the catalog, open its item record and then click Cite/Export to generate citations in several formats. Copy and paste the MLA citation into your paper. If you do this, however, you will have to format the citation to have a hanging indent if it's longer than one line on your page.
If the book you want to cite is not held by COM Library, you can still find it in WorldCat by expanding your search to Libraries Worldwide in the drop down menu next to the search bar.

All these question are answered by real COM Library staff, so we can only answer if we're open.
