Please help me find articles about the topic of parental legal responsibility. I need some sources about Texas.

Answer

Go to our Databases by Subject LibGuide and select the Hot Topics tab. All the databases there will be good for the topic in general.

I searched parental responsiblity, and got good results. In EBSCO, be sure to use the limiters on the left for full text and Subject:Thesaurus term.

To find sources directly about Texas, you can search for Texas laws concerning parental responsibility in juvenile offenses. Go to the below link for Texas Constitution and Statues and select Family Code, then look for parental responsibility in the drop down menu. Section 41 is definitley relevant, and there may be others.

For items specific to Texas, you may want to also search Infotrac Newstand and EBSCO: Newspaper Source. The Government and Law tabs are worth searching, too.
