For books, follow the link below to our library catalog, WorldCat, and search for su:Shakespeare, William, 1564-1616 Film adaptations or su:Shakespeare, William, 1564-1616--Television adaptations. There are three books that look particularly relevant: Cinematic Shakespeare, Shakespeare on Film, and Classics in Film and Fiction (eBook).

For articles, the library's literature databases are the best place to search. Follow the link below to a list of available databases.

In Ebsco databases, there are several ways you can go about looking for articles such as this. For instance, I found some articles that discussed film adaptations of the play by entering this search string: "FILM adaptations" AND romeo AND juliet AND shakespeare.

In Gale: Literature Resources, you can select the Works Search tab and then search for Romeo and Juliet. Several links will be available. Two go to articles about film adaptations. The main search result -- Romeo and Juliet (Play) -- can also be used. Select it, and then either search within the results for film, television or, radio, or select Movies from the list of subjects on the left side of the screen.
