How do I do in-text MLA citations for youtube videos?
Answer
You can find instructions for in-text MLA citations in our Cite MLA Style Libguide, linked below, underneath the In Text Citations tab. Purdue OWL, available through the second link below, also has instructions for many types of in-text MLA citations. Scroll down to the 'Citing Non-Print or Sources from the Internet' section.
Generally, in-text MLA citations include the author's name and the page number. Since a youtube video has no pages, you can just include the author's name. If no author is given, cite the title of the video instead.
