Where can I find some literary criticism of Isabel Allende's story "The Judge's Wife"?
Answer
The COM Library literary databases are the best place to search for these types of resources. To use them, follow the link below to our Databases by Subject guide and select the Literature tab to view our literature databases. You can get instructions on using the various databases in our How to Use Literature Databases guide, linked below.
You also can search for books through WorldCat, linked below. For example, there is an eBook critical companion for Isabel Allende available.
I did a thorough search of the literature databases, and while there is a lot of material available about Allende and her works, there is not very much about this short story. In situations like this you may have to expand your search criteria to include material that provides a more general discussion of the author's works, or consider choosing another topic if the story was going to be the main focus of a critical analysis.

All these question are answered by real COM Library staff, so we can only answer if we're open.
