I need to create an MLA citation for a book. Where can I get help to do this?
Answer
The COM Library Cite MLA Style Libguide, linked below, is a good place to start to find information about the creation of MLA citations. Select the Cite Print tab to view the formatting rules and some examples.
COM Library's catalog, WorldCat, can automatically generate MLA citations for any item you can locate in it. To use it, follow the link below and search for your book. Once you find it, select it to open its item record and click on the Cite/Export tab to generate the citations. If you're looking for a book that is not in COM Library, be sure to first select Libraries Worldwide from the drop-down list to make sure the catalog will find the book.

All these question are answered by real COM Library staff, so we can only answer if we're open.
