Can you help me find articles on obesity and fast food consumption? Also, how do I do APA citations for books and articles?

Answer

Go to our Databases by Subject LibGuide below, and select the Hot Topics tab. First try EBSCO: Academic Search Complete. Search obesity AND fast food (this is a boolean search for both terms).

Use the limiters on the left for full text, publication year, and subject: thesaurus terms to refine your results.

To get the citation from EBSCO, click on the title link. You can get the citation both from within the detailed record or in the article. You will find the citation tool on the right. It looks like a piece of paper. Click the icon, then copy and paste the APA style citation into your references page (Word document).

For detailed instructions on obtaining citations from our databases, go to our Cite APA Style LibGuide below, and select the Cite the EZ Way tab.

This LibGuide will give you a basic overview on citing books, as well. For more detailed examples and explanations, also visit Purdue Owl's APA Guide, also linked below.
