How can I find some scholarly articles about psychological trauma?

The COM Library academic databases are a good place to search. Follow the link below to our Databases by Subject guide and select the Social Sciences tab. From there you can select from the list of databases and search them for articles. The EBSCO databases, particularly Academic Search Complete and All Social Science Databases, would be a good place to start.
In the databases, you can start with an initial search for psychological trauma, and then use the search limiters on the left side of the screen (or additional search terms) to narrow the search down to a smaller and more relevant group of articles. Be sure to select Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals to remove all non-scholarly articles from the list.
You could also try searching instead for psychic trauma, as this is a subject heading in the Ebsco databases and could yield better search results.
