I suggest you go to our Databases by Subject LibGuide (link below). From there, I suggest either the Hot Topics tab, or the Nursing tab. In addition to EBSCO's Academic Search Complete, you may also want to check out EBSCO's CINAHL, a database with more medical information.

If you want to find books on the topic, select our link to WorldCat (link below). You can search for books or eBooks in WorldCat

Whether searching for articles or books, I would recommend a few different possibilities for searches: In addition to using the word Children, also try child or childhood. In addition to the word obesity, try weight or weight control. You may want to search for information on eating habits, or healthy eating.
