I am new faculty at COM, and wondering if you provide one-on-one classes for students interested in accessing databases for research projects?
Answer
Absolutely! We provide instruction lots of ways and we are open to what works for you and your students. We have faculty that request custom library instruction for their entire class, which we can do in our library classroom or in your classroom, and we also have instructors that like to refer students to us individually to work with them one on one. We helped students one on one specifically with research last year 494 times and we had 188 library classes, so you can see that we do either—or both! Let me know if you’d like to discuss more. Meanwhile, you can see more details in our Faculty LibGuide on the library instruction tab (link below).

All these question are answered by real COM Library staff, so we can only answer if we're open.
