Answer

You can find articles about water pollution through our COM Library academic databases.  Follow the link below to our Databases by Subject libguide, and click on the Science tab.  This will present you with a list of our science databases.  From there you can select an individual database and search it for articles.

All but one of our science databases operate through EBSCO, and each of these has many articles on water pollution.  Start your search by entering a database and entering water pollution in the search bar, which will retrieve many results (over 50,000 in Academic Search Complete).  You can greatly narrow this number through the search limiters on the left side of the screen.  Limit to full text, and under Subject: Thesaurus Term, select water pollution.  From there you can continue to reduce the search by date of publication, type of publication (peer-reviewed articles are most authoritative), and more specific subject thesaurus terms.

If you are concerned with a particular subtopic of water pollution (for example, the contribution of pesticides to water pollution), try including extra search terms to narrow your search results to a smaller and more relevant group of articles (i.e. search for water pollution AND pesticide).
