I am looking for books and articles on fashion design

I need to do a speech on how fashion affects how people feel about themselves.

In order to find books on fashion design, you want to first go to WorldCat, the library's online catalog. (See "For More Info/Source(s)" below for the link.) I would recommend starting with the terms: fashion society. Looking at some of the individual titles may give you hints on other keywords to search.

For articles, go to the Library's LibGuide Databases by Subject (See "For More Info/Source(s)" below for the link.) For your topic, the Social Sciences tab may be a good place to start. EBSCO Academic Search Complete indexes a wide variety of sources. Again, think about what you are trying to accomplish. I would start with that same search: fashion society. You may want to try other words, too. As you review articles, be aware of the subject headings used, which may give you ideas on other ways to search for this information.
