There are two great databases to use to find resources on blood donation:

EBSCO's Consumer Health Complete
EBSCO's Consumer Health Complete is a great resource. It has articles, content from encyclopedias, reference books and pamphlets for great background information, and for some topics it has images and videos which are great for speeches.
Gale Health & Wellness Resource Center
This database also has articles, books & fact sheets, pamphlets, images and video.

To access these databases, go to the Databases by Subject LibGuide (see link below) and select the Health & Nursing tab. It will be listed in the Best COM Library Databases for Health & Nursing box.
