The best database for peer reviewed articles is EBSCO Academic Search Complete. You can access it from the EBSCO Academic Search Complete tab in the How to Use EBSCO LibGuide (see link below). Here is how to get peer reviewed articles:

After performing your search go to Refine Your Results on the left, select peer reviewed journals and hit update.

It's that easy!
