Can you give me information on how to cite one volume of a multi-volume work in MLA format?
Answer
Sure! There are two really great resources to help you with this.
First, you can go to our MLA LibGuide (link below), and choose the Cite the EZ Way tab. On your left you will find a link to Easy Bib, which is an online citation generator. You plug the information into the fields, and it creates a citation for you.
The second great resource is Purdue Owl's MLA Guide (link below). It gives information and examples on creating citations for many formats, on how to do parenthetical citations, and how to format your entire paper MLA style. The link I provide takes you directly to creating book citations. Scroll down to find multi-volume works. Look on the left for information on other topics.

All these question are answered by real COM Library staff, so we can only answer if we're open.
