A good source for this type of information is our EBSCO databases. Our Databases by Subject LibGuide (Link below) will give you information on how to search these sources, and the link to 'Hot Topics & News' (Link below) will give you links to many possible sources. I would recommend EBSCO: Academic Search Complete.

The search terms: Rap music teens did not provide very many articles. This is a time when you just need to consider different words that may mean the same or similar things. Adolescents, instead of teens. Use the singular form of the word - teen or adolescent. Rap music culture may find materials on a broader topic that contains information helpful to you.

Know your topic and experiment with different possible ways to describe it.
